Amy A. Edwards, Chairperson

 

Professional, philanthropist, mother of four. Committed to giving back.

 

Amy Edwards is a native of the City of Rochester and a proud alumna of Wilson Magnet High School. She has been a very active volunteer at Dimitri House for 15 years. Joining the board in 2008 and recognizing the importance of the mission that serves over ten thousand inner city neighbors annually, Amy accepted the board presidency in 2013. Amy is a passionate advocate for inner city families and the homeless in our community. 

 

In her spare time Amy is a successful Senior Account Manager at Cisco Systems with a special place in her heart for diversity in engineering and women in technology programs. As a marathon runner and triathlete, Amy knows the meaning of being in it for the long haul. 

 

When Amy's not assisting one of her university customers with technology or helping one of her college-aged children launch into adulthood, you'll most likely find her at Dimitri House. Amy rarely finds a challenge or an opportunity to serve others that she can turn down.
