Marietta Smithrand grew up outside of Syracuse, NY, and moved to Rochester upon graduation from SUNY Geneseo. Marietta now considers Rochester home - finding passion in her work at First American Equipment Finance in Victor, as a Big for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester, on the Planning Committee for Tour De Cure of Finger Lakes supporting American Diabetes Association, as a founding member of First American's Corporate Citizenship Team, and through volunteering for various organizations in the Rochester area. 

 

Throughout the past several years of volunteering for Dimitri House's Thanksgiving Basket program, Marietta has seen first-hand the impact that nourishment, support, compassion, and respect can have on folks in the community. Joining the Board of Directors in 2023, Marietta is looking forward to supporting Dimitri House's mission in new ways.
