THE DASH PROGRAM
Established in 2015, the Dimitri Affordable Safe Housing (DASH) program helps individuals and families who are currently facing housing insecurity. Clients working with care and case management agencies are referred to obtain financial assistance with security deposit funds. DASH puts people in permanent housing as the first step toward stability and independence. Inspired by the housing initiative, this program supports individuals towards self-sufficiency.
For individuals and families that are experiencing financial hardship, one of the most common barriers they face is providing security deposits. The DASH program works with case management providers to cover the cost of security deposits to those who are ready to make the transition from homelessness to permanent housing.
